Graphic Desires is darkly entertaining, and doesn’t hold back on any part of its explicit content. I mean you wouldn’t want a watered-down erotic thriller, right?
Darker Shades of Elise, which Scott Jeffrey produced in 2017 and didn’t really reflect where the rest of the actor-turned-director/producer’s oeuvre would go, was one of the earliest films we reviewed on Nerdly with the name Scott Jeffrey. However, Proportion Productions are now back, but this time they are not making a low-budget monster film, terrifying slasher film, or brilliant metaphorical horror. No, with Realistic Plans the organization take us back to some other time, the 90s post-Fundamental Sense, with another sexual spine chiller.
The story of Franklin (David Wayman), a reclusive designer who freelances from home, is told in Graphic Designs. Franklin cheats on his partner with a mysterious girl he meets on a new dating app called Smasher. However, a lethal obsession begins with this relationship.
First of all, Franklin’s profession and the “graphic designs” (also known as graphic acts) he has planned for his latest obsession, Atlanta (May Kelly), the woman he meets on Smasher, are both reflected in the title Graphic Designs. After all, Franklin isn’t looking for a long-term partner when his best friend Brandon describes the app as “sex on tap.” Albeit given he as of now lives with his better half you realize Franklin is being an extremely mischievous kid… The title likewise mirrors the film’s sexual moments as well, which pushed the envelope of what I anticipated!
