Dear Mom,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I appreciate your concern about my future and the profession I would like to pursue after leaving secondary school. After much consideration, I have decided that I would like to become a software engineer. Allow me to explain my choice and the reasons behind it.

First and foremost, I have always had a keen interest in technology and computers. From a young age, I found myself fascinated by the way computers work and how they can be used to solve complex problems. The world of software engineering offers endless possibilities for innovation and creativity, which greatly appeals to me.

Moreover, software engineering is a rapidly growing field with immense career prospects. In today’s digital age, technology is advancing at an unprecedented rate, and software engineers are at the forefront of this revolution. By choosing this profession, I believe I will have ample opportunities for personal growth, job security, and financial stability.

Additionally, software engineering allows for remote work and flexible working hours. This flexibility is important to me as it provides a better work-life balance. It would give me the freedom to pursue my personal interests and spend quality time with loved ones while still having a fulfilling care.

There was a man named James who lived in a small village with his wife and three children. James was a hardworking man and would often go out of his way to help those in need. Despite his busy schedule, he always made time to volunteer at the local orphanage and donate money to various charity organizations.

Although his generosity was admired by many, James’ family felt neglected. His children often complained that he spent more time volunteering than he did with them. His wife felt left out and yearned for his attention.

One day, James’ youngest daughter fell ill. She had a high fever and was in a lot of pain. James rushed her to the hospital and spent several nights by her side until she recovered. During this time, he missed a few days of work and had to dip into his savings to pay for the medical bills.

It was during this difficult time that James realized that charity truly begins at home. His family needed him just as much as the people he was helping outside of his home. From that day forward, he made a conscious effort to spend time with his family and prioritize their needs.

He still continued to volunteer and donate to charities, but he also ensured that his family was taken care of first. James’ children noticed the change and were thrilled to have their father back. His wife was grateful for the attention and support he was giving her.

In the end, James learned that charity begins at home. He realized that it was important to take care of his family first before taking care of others. His actions inspired others in the village to do the same and provide love and support to their families before extending charity to others.
