Milan reach an agreement with Red Bull Salzburg for €13-15m Okafor, medical tomorrow for the striker
Noah Okafor will become a new player of Milan tomorrow, as the Diavolo reached an agreement with Salzburg.
Milan have found their striker: after failing to sign Marcus Thuram, and dealing with Porto for a while for Mehdi Taremi without making much progress, the Rossoneri have decided to sign Noah Okafor.
The Swiss has been on the books for a while, and now, seemingly out of nowhere, they have struck a deal to bring him to Milan and bolster the attack.
As reported by Milannews.it and Gianluca Di Marzio among others, all the details are set and tomorrow (Saturday) the player will undergo the medical and then go join the team in the United States for the friendly matches.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Okafor, who can in any position in attack, will cost Milan €13-15m including bonuses. Okafor, being a European, will allow Milan now to sign a non-EU right winger, namely Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal, who is the top target of the club.
Okafor is the 6th signing of the summer, after Marco Sportiello, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Romero, Christian Pulisic and Tijjani Reijnders. An important prospect who will challenge Olivier Giroud.
