Dream tells the story of a team of people trying out for the Homeless World Cup, an annual international soccer event.
Dream (2023) is an upcoming Korean film about a football star player who gets involved in an assault case, receiving disciplinary probation, and a female director who documents the story of football players. As part of the dsciplinary process, he is given a challenging assignment to coach a group of homeless people who are inexperienced with football but is set to compete for the Homeless World Cup, making him struggle during trainings. From being cold towards them, he begins to have a change of heart as the team shows determination to achieve the win, putting their best foot forward.
Hong-dae (Park Seo-joon), a football player, finds himself facing disciplinary probation after an unexpected incident. However, despite his setback, he is given the unique opportunity to coach a special national soccer team. This team is made up of individuals who are homeless and have never had the chance to play soccer before. They will be competing in the Homeless World Cup, and Hong-dae has the important task of leading and training them.
