NICOLE WATERS, is a super organized workaholic, which makes her the perfect personal assistant to KIMBERLY PRICE, a high-powered venture capitalist. Nicole runs every aspect of Kim’s life and plans every day down to the minute, so when Kim gets engaged to Bradley, she decides to put Nicole in charge of the wedding planning. But the big problem… Nicole HATES weddings and is stuck with Michael, Bradley’s nephew who LOVES weddings!
Most people love weddings– unless, of course, you’ve been burned at some point during the perfect life you’ve tried to lead. (i.e. the boyfriend you were sure to marry unceremoniously dumped you). This might make your assignment to plan your boss’ dream wedding a nightmare! However, when the groom’s nephew, an over-the-top romantic, is thrown into the mix, it’s just too easy to be sarcastic and cynical about the whole event! BUT this is your boss, and if you want her in your corner when that big promotion comes up, get over it!
Nicole (Holly Deveaux) is your typical type-A personality who dislikes “going with the flow”, “trusting the universe” and general spontaneity, but she is doing a great job at feigning “delight” at being asked to plan her boss’ wedding… in just 2 short weeks! Kim (Brigitte Kingsley) and Bradley (Landy Cannon) want it to be fabulous! What could go wrong?
While Nicole and Michael (Drew Seeley) work together, they begin to rub off on one another, and Michael introduces Nicole to a whole new world in the hopes of getting her to change her mind about love. Despite Nicole’s feelings towards weddings, and the initial head-butting with Michael, the wedding plans seem to be coming along nicely– until Nicole overhears Bradley romantically talking to another woman on the phone. All of Nicole’s long-standing feelings about romance come racing back as she’s faced with the decision to tell Kim and ruin her wedding or to stay out of it, while trying to navigate her growing feelings for Michael.
