And she wants to celebrate Jericho’s belated first birthday party. Season 4 Episode 6 pits the Turner couple (Dorothy and Sean) against Leanne and her lapdog Julian (Rupert Grint) in another intense, eventful installment. • With talk of an evacuation, the sinkhole has made its way onto the news, but the Turner family still lives on the street.
• Leanne has organized a one-year-and-a-half birthday party for Jericho. The back garden is fitted with a mini zoo consisting of goats, spiders, snakes, and baby pigs. Julian arrives late with the balloons, parking away from the sinkhole.
• Sean and Dorothy plan their next line of attack, hoping to win over Julian. He may be able to influence his girlfriend. Although Julian is very much on Leanne’s side and does whatever she asks.
• Leanne makes a speech, implying her knowledge of Dorothy and Sean’s plans to oust her. Sean tries to reason with Julian, but he doesn’t see what hold she has over him and doesn’t believe in her supernatural powers.
• Leanne is attacked by a snake and then a goat. She goes upstairs to change and is attacked by three cult members. The nanny manages to defeat these attackers and returns to the party.
• A goat smashes the kitchen door and frightens Julian, who drops the cake. They can’t find the candles, but Leanne forces everyone to sing along. A dog bites Leanne, Julian falls the cake again, and all hell breaks loose. The animals escape, and the guests all panic. It is sheer pandemonium.
• The nurse, Bev, offers to look at Leanne’s dog bite and takes her into their apartment. Bev then drugs Leanne. She was the secret cult member all along. Bev ties Leanne up and starts to whip herself in front of the nanny.
• Sean and Julian argue some more, doling out all the hard truths to one another before getting into a brawl.
• Julian notices smoke coming from downstairs and runs to save Leanne. But she has already used her powers on Bev, who is swelling up. Bev collapses, and Sean calls 911.
• The other nurse, Bobbie, quits her job, although she knows nothing about Bev’s other life. She warns Dorothy to be careful of Leanne, who is obsessed with her.
• Sean and Julian apologize to one another. Dorothy finds the old tape of Leanne as a child at the pageant.
