Manchester City are aiming to return to winning ways as they take on Tottenham in the Premier League.

Following Sunday’s dismal 2-0 defeat against Arsenal in the North London Derby, Antonio Conte and his Spurs team need to bounce back to ensure they keep in touch with the top four.
However, that will be easier said than done as they face the reigning Premier League champions at the Etihad Stadium.
City also desperately need a win as they look to close in on Arsenal again after falling eight points behind the Gunners at the summit of the league table.

Manchester City came from 2-0 down at half-time to beat Spurs 4-2 in a pulsating match at the Etihad Stadium.
The outstanding Riyad Mahrez played a part in the first two goals before scoring two himself to complete an immense comeback.
City had been booed off at half-time after a dramatic end to the first half. Dejan Kulusevski put Spurs ahead in the 44th minute, finishing coolly after Ederson put Rodri in serious trouble with a risky pass, and there was an air of disbelief when Emerson Royal headed a second after Harry Kane’s vicious cross-shot was beaten away by Ederson.
Pep Guardiola made no half-time changes, despite having Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva on the bench, and his decision was more than justified. Julian Alvarez finished calmly in the 51st minute after a goalmouth scramble, and two minutes later Erling Haaland ended his mini goal drought with a close-range header.
Ivan Perisic’s shot ricocheted off Rico Lewis and onto the crossbar before Mahrez beat Hugo Lloris at the near post to give City the lead. Mahrez finished the match in the last minute, dinking the ball lazily over Lloris after a mistake from the substitute Clement Lenglet.
The win takes City to within five points of the leaders Arsenal, who have a game in hand. After an inconsistent Premier League season – awesome at times, sloppy at others – City will hope this is a line in the sand.
