What Is The Storyline Of All American Season 5?
The narrative of Spencer James, a high school football prodigy who transfers from Crenshaw to Beverly High and lives with his mother and brother in South Central Los Angeles and the Bakers in Beverly Hills, is the inspiration for the moving ensemble family drama All American.
But as Spencer, the Bakers, and the James family are brought together, they will learn that the differences that divide us on the surface disguise a deeper connection — the messy, imperfect humanity that links us all.
The program tries to make every minor issue into a major one, and it wastes too much time on unnecessary subplots. Some of the performers, particularly the ones playing high school football players, don’t look remotely like they belong in a high school setting. To make him look younger, they have JJ act all silly and stupid. Instead, he seems to be a 30-something actor trying to pass himself off as a youngster.
