No wonder, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah is a household name in our society.

It is really good to get to know people well before forming opinions about them, rather than judging people from a distance or from biased reports deliberately spread around by people whose motives are anything but pure speculation.
So, I set about getting to know Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah well, after my visit to an uncle in the rebuilt electrical electronics market in Nnewi . The visit afforded me the opportunity to get firsthand the pure joy and happiness on the faces and body chemistry of market men and women who all had wonderful stories to tell about Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah since his intervention in the fire disaster that befell them, by rebuilding the market and also providing numerous other financial assistance that enabled them withstand the devastating effects of he fire incident, which gave them a fresh breath of life when all hopes seemed lost
On getting home that very day after the sobering visit, I decided to take my time to meticulously go through the report of his stewardship in the past 365 days and was highly wowed!!!
I realized that this is a man who through, popular mandate by Ndi Anambra South has since come on board to rescue the zone from the shackles of bad leadership that had held down the Senatorial district for years through his open door style of leadership and Midas touch.
Today Anambra South is enjoying the dividends of democracy she deserves, thanks to the focused and experienced hands, and style of the Senator who from day one had set about the job of delivering democratic dividends to his people with dexterity, despite the numerous court distractions he faced in the last one year
Before the coming of Dr . Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, Anambra South had been so deprived and behind other senatorial districts, when it came to enjoying democratic dividends
The operations of the former occupant was opaque , elitist and even communication channels to present the various needs of the people of the Senatorial Zone was rocket science and hard to access then .Then, Ndi Anambra South only saw their Senator whenever it was time for elections and he needs their mandate again, but today, poor stewardship has departed from the zone .
The people, now have a people’s Senator who is a mere phone call away from his people’
Even while in the market , I witnessed firsthand, how a woman whose husband was affected also in the fire disaster put a call across to him which was picked immediately and the sincerity of her prayers almost moved me to tears.
Truth be told , I was one of those that didn’t give the Senator a chance when he came aboard, but having taken time to critically analyse his achievements in the last 365 days, out of which he spent almost 150 days, if not more visiting the courts and fighting to retain the popular mandate given to him by his people. I was amazed, that he was still able to lead his acolytes from other Senatorial zones in Anambra in terms of service delivery to the people.
Proverbs 29:2 made us to understand that “When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice, but when the wicked are in power, they groan.”
Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has demonstrated love towards his people in the last one year as he pilots the affairs of his senatorial district in the 9th senate….
We all, are witnesses to how he demonstrated massive love and concern towards our people few weeks ago when he shared palliatives to all the zones in the state and even to Ndi Igbo outside the state (Lagos), this is a man who feels what the common man is passing through in this critical time in our Nation.
Within his little stay in the senate, Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has thoroughly outshined his predecessor who had been there for eight years without any tangible results to show for it.
Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has restored hope to the common man in terms of good representation..
Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has provided Job opportunities to our unemployed youths, given scholarship to students within and outside the Senatorial district. He has reached out to the widows and widowers in the society. And the most amazing part of it all, was that he refused to publicise it unlike most other politicians in his shoes would have done .
When I confronted him to his face thus
Distinguished, I know you have one of the most formidable media teams in the state and yet we never heard these stories of your personal interventions especially in the area of job Creation, I asked.
He gave a thoughtful smile and went philosophical, by narrating the stories of his humble beginning and how he won’t be where he is today, without assistance also from people , he said and I quote
“Chikeluba nwanne m, when you do these and make them public, one, you have grabbed the glory reserved for God to yourself, and secondly you will end up throwing the spot light on how you get these things done and you know the heart of man sometimes”
“I enjoy divine mandate from God, we had a covenant before he put me in this office and I will always do my human best to maintain my own end of the bargain which is wiping the tears of my people by delivering democratic dividends to them and solving their various needs as much I can ‘ he concluded
Mwai Kibaki, a Kenyan politician asserts that “Leadership is a privilege to better the lives of others. It is not an opportunity to satisfy personal greed.” Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has demonstrated this in the past one year as he used the divine mandate given to him, to better the lives of his people.
Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyo Ubah is one of the few politicians in our society who takes delight in serving the people and considers himself as the servant of the people.
He has also been a vital voice in consolidating Democracy in the country, promoting unity in diversity and championing courses that elevates the welfare of Ndi Igbo generally .
Hence the sobriquet , “The Prince of the Senate”, given to him by non other than the Senate president himself .
Same man who, before he ventured into the murky waters of politics used his personal resources to establish the Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club(FCIU) and built a world class Stadium which has helped talented youths in maximizing and actualizing their potentials apart from giving Ndi Anambra a vibrant football club they are proud of and providing entertainment destination every weekend for several families that visit the stadium to watch matches and catch in, on the thrills that comes with match day live activities.
It is no doubt that Senator Ubah represents the hopes, aspirations and the interests of several youths in the state hence the followership via the open door revolution.
With the likes of Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah in power, Ndi Anambra need not despair as he is a beacon of hope, proper representation, development and justice.
This is why I have declared my total support for him and have also joined the open door revolution too.
Let us insist on Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah towards the journey to Agu Awka come 2021.
