Leeds United vs Arsenal’s match started with full attacking forces.
Rodrigo makes a strong run to sent up Sinisterra, who rockets the ball into the side netting from some way out. Ramsdale leaps to save the ball, and it’s a Leeds corner. The ball flies into the pack, and in the melee, Ramsdale has to make a brilliant save to keep Leeds from bundling the ball in.
Quick as a flash, Arsenal have their opportunity. Martinelli brings in the ball for Xhaka to make a dummy-run into the box, whilst Jesus tries to power the eventual pass in. No luck, the attempt flies over the bar.
End-to-end stuff here. Arsenal find the ball on the left with Martinelli who crosses. Xhaka dummies and Odegaard feeds Jesus whose shot is agonisingly over the bar.
Martinelli drifts inside, finds Odegaard who is in space 25 yards out. He goes for goal, but it’s blocked… by Jesus.
Arsenal stay on the attack, cross whipped in to where Martinelli is free at the back post again but Meslier paws it away just in time.
Sinisterra looks really bright on his return for Leeds. Shifts the ball onto his right, shots is deflected and flies just wide.
Leeds have the ball in the box and a scramble takes place. A shot comes through and Ramsdale saves well from close range before the resulting cross is caught.
Corner whipped in, chaos in the Arsenal six yard-box before Ramsdale eventually gets something on it. Great save from close range.
