Raheem Sterling has been linked with a sensational move from Manchester City along with the long-standing interest in Yves Bissouma. While the likes of Granit Xhaka and Matteo Guendouzi look set for the Emirates exit door.

Kroenke’s promise

Arsenal won’t be in European competition next season.

It’s the first time such a feat has happened in over two decades which has subsequently seen Stan and Josh Kroenke come under intense scrutiny over their ownership of the club.

But the American businessmen have repeatedly stated the intention to have the Gunners challenging for the Premier League and Champions League in the coming seasons.

£51.5m to sign Odegaard

Reports in Spain claim Real Madrid are looking to offload Martin Odegaard on a permanent basis.

And in a boost for Arsenal, they have reportedly been ‘told’ that £51.5million is the absolutely ‘minimum figure’ to reach an agreement for the attacking midfielder

Arteta set challenge

Former Gunner Perry Groves has said Mikel Arteta has no excuses not to lead Arsenal back into the Champions League next season after a five-year absence.

Arteta was unable to lead Arsenal into a European campaign of any kind following a dismal season, the first time in 25 years the Gunners will not be involved in European competition. However, Groves believes the lack of continental competition can play in Arteta’s favour by allowing him more time on the training pitch with his team.

Groves added that Arteta should take a look at how Thomas Tuchel has transformed Chelsea’s fortunes suggesting the Spaniard could learn how to be a better man-manager if he were to follow the German’s example.

Perfect Bellerin replacement

Hector Bellerin, despite being the club’s longest-serving player, looks set to leave Arsenal this summer.

But who should replace him at right-back?

Max Aarons is one name being mentioned in the rumour mill, but Mikel Arteta may have to raid his former club Manchester City to sign the perfect Bellrin replacement.

Ozil’s message to Kolasinac

Reports in Turkey claim Mesut Ozil is trying to convince Sead Kolasinac to join him in Turkey.

But not at Fenerbahce.

Fotomac claim Galatasaray have sent an offer to Arsenal to buy Sead Kolasinac whose future is in doubt after Schalke’s relegation.

Aguero deal confirmed

When it was announced that Sergio Aguero was leaving, Arsenal hero Paul Merson touted the Argentine for a move to Arsenal.

If he stays in England, I think Arsenal would suit the style he would be looking for .

They’d be a good choice.

Mikel Arteta was at Manchester City and the way Arsenal play; they get around the box and they do create a lot of opportunities. Arsenal do tick that box for Aguero.

However, Merson won’t get his wish as it has been confirmed that Aguero will join Barcelona this summer after signing a two-year deal.

Kane raves about Sterling

Reported Arsenal target Raheem Sterling was the subject of conversation when Harry Kane appeared on The Overlap.

Kane plays with Sterling for the England national team and the Spurs striker has described what makes the Man City forward so good.

“So nippy, so good one-v-one, he is a huge part of how we play with England, his pace and directness one-v-one against the full-back, cutting inside, and he has been scoring a good amount of goals for a few years now,” Kane said on Sterling.

Ceballos makes Arsenal decision

Dani Ceballos has ruled out joining Arsenal for a third successive season on a loan deal.

The 24-year-old has returned to Spain following a disappointing campaign for the Gunners – and will only return to the club if the deal is a permanent one.

“‘It is true that I have a contract with Real Madrid for the next two years and I would not like to go on loan to another club again. With the experience of the last two years, I am a player who needs to feel important, I would like to start next year from the beginning and feeling important, but settling down,” he told Canal Sur Radio.

Guendouzi set for exit

Matteo Guendouzi is edging closer to a permanent exit from Arsenal with Marseille in talks over signing the French midfielder, football.london understands.

The 22-year-old spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Hertha Berlin, but fell out of favour towards the end of his spell there with the Bundesliga side opting against making his move permanent.
