Survival Fund: See What You Need To Know About The COVID-19 Relief Funds That Federal Government Just Recently Introduced
The Federal Government on Thursday morning took to social media to announce the ongoing disbursement of relief funds to small business owners that COVID-19 affected or disturbed under the scheme known as MSME Survival Fund.
Probably the reason why the hashtag #IGotSurvivalFund started trending on Thursday morning after some people claimed that they got money from the scheme.
The payment proof that some people shared via Twitter shows that the Federal Government has earlier sent instructional details to beneficiaries.
The message claimed that every beneficiary should post with the hashtag #IGotSurvivalFund
The message starts with the hashtag, followed by full name, name of your business, location of your business, registration ID and “I am a beneficiary of Survival Fund. Thank you Federal Govt.”
Unconfirmed reports revealed that the survival fund is between the range of N20,000 and N50,000.
The official registration for the scheme started on Monday 21 September 2020 and from what we gathered from BBC Pidgin, more than 1.7 million Nigerians that have businesses will benefit from the survival fund.
As at the time the Nigerian Government announce the scheme, they promised that 45% of beneficiaries will be women and 5% will be people that need special needs like the less privileged.
Another good news is that the plan will also favour those in transport like Bolt drivers and artisans and also those into plumbing, bricklayer, electrician work and other related vocational workers.
