This is yet another Thursday throw back to a song by international senegalese music export Akon. The record is tagged “Locked Up” released in 2004 under Universal Records.
“Locked Up” the remix features Styles P. The original came off “Trouble” album by Akon which garnered worldwide love and airplays. ‘Locked Up’ by Akon featuring Styles P centered on him being isolated and kept in confined space.
The world is currently battling COVID-19 pandemic (Coronavirus) with several countries already on total lock down in an attempt to contain the spread of the virus. Economies and businesses have been halted, people are going on self-isolation – there’s absolutely no better time to think deep while jamming to the song “Locked Up” by Akon featuring Styles P.
The world famous entertainer Akon shared this on twitter recently: “Streams numbers for Locked up and Lonely are through the roof. I guess a lot of people are feeling the effects of self isolation and this coronavirus, we’ll get through it, peace and love,”.
