Secondary School Student Revealed What They Got For Identifying As Marlians
A secondary student of Air-Force Secondary School, Ikeja, Lagos State has revealed what they got for identifying as Marlians.
The student with the handle, @Afss_2k20 took to Instagram to post:
“What we get for calling ourselves Marlians ….my school thinks marlian is a cult that do not wear belt and the girls do not wear bra and pants
Monday Wednesday and Friday.. Please tag @nairamarley and @tundeednut so this statement can be debunked naira Marley has to make a video to tell the world that he is a disciplined person so all this can be reduced”
The term ‘Marlian’ is used to identify the fans and followers of the popular Nigerian musician, Naira Marley. It has become a movement as youths, children and adults on the streets now parade themselves as Marlians.
The anthem on the streets these days is either “Marlians zero belt, no mannaz”, “Marlians don’t go to school” or “Marlians don’t graduate” despite reports showing that the headliner Naira Marley graduated from a University in the UK.
