2019 WAEC Literature in English Answer Now Available

2019 WAEC Literature Answer Released – See Waec Lit-In-Eng Questions for Objective, Prose, Drama & Poetry Here.

The Waec Literature in English answers for 2019 exam has been released. The West African Examination Council (WAEC) Literature-In-English paper for Prose and Objective will be written on Friday, 3rd May, 2019 while that of Drama and Poetry will be written on Wednesday, 15th May, 2019.

Incase you forgot, there are three papers in Waec English Literature – Papers 1 & 2 and then 3, all of which must be taken on their assigned dates.

Paper 1 & 2 (Objective and Prose) is combined in a paper which was taken at one sitting from 9:30am to 11:45am while Paper 3 (Drama and Poetry) will be written from 2:00pm to 4:30pm which marks the end of the WAEC Literature in English exam.

In this post is samples of Waec literature in English questions for candidates that will participate in the 2019 examination. Read down below.

Note that below is the questions from Waec literature past questions and answers that we feel are likely questions for SSCE preparation.

African Prose

Non-African Prose

African Drama

African Poetry

  3. Gabriel Okara – Piano and Drums

Note:

(i) The Unseen Prose passage for Paper 1 shall be about 120 – 150 words long.
(ii) Only context questions shall be set on the Shakespearean text. The context questions will test such items as theme, characterization, style and setting in the Shakespearean text.

(iii) No essay question shall be set on the Shakespearean text.

PAPER 2 (Prose)
Answer ONE question only from each section.
Write your answers on the answer booklet provided.
