Banky W Announces He Is Running For Political Office In 2019

As the Nigerian political landscape is shaping up as the country draws near general elections in 2019, more Nigerian entertainers are making an entry into politics. Some will be contesting for elective offices under various political parties next year.

A prominent Nigerian singer, Banky W has officially declared his political intention and candidacy to run for office in the coming elections. Banky W born Olubankole Wellington has announced he will be contesting for a seat in the Federal House of Representatives.

He would be contesting to represent Eti Osa Federal Constituency in the House of Reps. Already the EME boss has picked up his ticket under the Modern Democratic Party (MDP) leaving popular choices like PDP and APC. His campaign tagline is ‘Hope 2019’.
