Freeway was diagnosed with kidney failure back in 2015 which threatened to put an end to his career but the veteran rapper has bounced back pretty well.
Freeway released his first new song in years, ‘Devils & Angels‘ back in February, which came shortly after rumors that he has signed with Roc Nation. The Philly native recently visited Funkmaster Flex’s show on Hot 97 to perform a freestyle which he obviously killed. Watch it below.
Also in the studio was old Roc affiliate Pain In Da Ass, famous for doing intros in several Roc-A-Fella albums during the 90s. During the freestyle, Philly Freezer confirms his Roc Nation deal and announces that his new album Think Free hits stores June 8th.
