Tottenham welcome Everton to Wembley on Saturday as the Premier League top four race resumes.

With Liverpool hosting Premier League champions-elect Manchester City on Sunday, Spurs can edge into the Champions League places with a commanding win against a team they haven’t lost to in over five years.

Harry Kane has bagged braces on his previous two games against the Toffees, who enjoyed a new manager bounce after Sam Allardyce’s appointment but are now winless in five. New signing Cenk Tosun is expected to feature.

Start time

Tottenham host Everton at Wembley Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 5.30pm on Saturday, January 13.

Provisional squad: Lloris, Vorm, Gazzaniga, Davies, Walker-Peters, Vertonghen, Sanchez, Dier, Foyth, Trippier, Aurier, Amos, Wanyama, Sissoko, Dembele, Alli, Eriksen, Son, Lamela, Llorente, Sterling, Kane.

New Everton signing Cenk Tosun is set for his debut at Wembley. The Turkey international signed a week ago from Besiktas and manager Sam Allardyce confirmed he would be in the squad.

Provisional squad: Pickford, Kenny, Holgate, Jagielka, Martina, Schneiderlin, McCarthy, Bolasie, Rooney, Sigurdsson, Calvert-Lewin, Robles, Williams, Davies, Baningime, Lennon, Vlasic, Tosun, Niasse, Lookman.

Zinedine Zidane’s men have won the Champions League in four out of the last seven years, and are bidding to reach a record-breaking 17th final. Their form has been up and down of late, but a victory over Osasuna at the weekend sends them into the contest with momentum.

Chelsea begin the evening with an away goal advantage courtesy of Christian Pulisic’s strike in the 1-1 draw in Madrid last week. The Blues were solid last week and arguably should have taken a lead back to Stamford Bridge.
