MATCH PREVIEW Chelsea vs Leicester City: Live stream, TV channel, kick-off time and team news for Premier League clash

The previous two Premier League champions face off on Saturday as Chelsea host Leicester City at Stamford Bridge.

Antonio Conte’s 2016-17 title winners host 2015-16 champions Leicester, though neither side is likely to lift the trophy this season with Manchester City running away at the top of the table.

But there is still plenty to play for this term, with Chelsea seeking to leapfrog Manchester United into second place and Claude Puel’s Foxes aiming to put distance between themselves and the bottom half of the table.

Live Updates

That is all from Conte right now, but we’ll have more on the site shortly.
More on Conte and his future at Chelsea:
Conte’s car was smashed up during a storm recently, and he says he was “lucky” and it was an “incredible accident”.
“I was having my lunch when it happened. The wind brought a big glass onto my car and, if there had been a person next to my car, I don’t know what would have happened.”
Conte says there is “something strange” when reports come out following Chelsea’s opening day loss against Burnley that he could be leaving. He says you’d only get that at Chelsea and not at any other club.
Now the big topic of Conte’s future at Chelsea.
“Everything is possible. I have another year on my contract at this club but, in football, everything is possible. Our job is very difficult because everything can change quickly.”
More talk on the transfer market as attentions turn to Baba Rahman.
Conte: “He is recovering from injury. Only once or twice (he saw him in training). It [moving to Schalke] could be an interesting option for him. But he’s not ready in this moment to play, otherwise he’d be here with us, in my squad.”
Conte is now being asked about what he said to Alexis Sanchez in the players’ tunnel following Chelsea’s 0-0 draw against Arsenal in midweek.
“I said hello! He knows very well my admiration for him. It was a good chance to say hello.”
So the first question to the Chelsea boss is about Barkley, and he says:

“I am clear [about when he’ll play]. I think that, maybe, in the next game against Norwich he could be available and in contention. I hope. If he continues in this way then why not? He’s not ready 100 per cent but he could start to help us.”

As I alluded to in my last post, Conte’s future at Chelsea has been questioned – with Simon Johnson reporting today that the club have drawn up a wishlist of managers who could potentially replace Conte should he walk away this summer.
