Beskitas Striker Cenk Tosun To Arrive Everton Next Week To Seal £7.5m Transfer

Cenk Tosun is set to arrive in Merseyside this week to seal a whopping £7.5million-a-year deal.

The Besiktas striker, 26, has agreed personal terms with Everton and is scheduled to arrive at Goodison on Tuesday.

He will pocket £145,000-a-week to swap Champions League football for the Premier League with Sam Allardyce’s team.

Big Sam’s priority in the January window is a striker – and Tosun will lead his attack for the second half of the season after sealing a contract until 2022.

Everton will fork out £25m for the striker, who posted a picture of himself on Oxford Street today, with another £3m in add-ons.

Allardyce will allow Oumar Niasse to leave the club when the German-born Turkish international arrives.

Niasse has only started one match for Allardyce and was hauled off at half-time when he was selected against Liverpool.

He was loaned to Hull last season before returning to fight for his place but Allardyce will listen to offers.

Tosun has struck 41 goals in 96 league games for the Super Lig outfit since joining from Gaziantepspor.

While the in-form ace also hit four in this season’s Champions League – including both goals in Besiktas’ 2-1 win at Monaco.
