River State Governor, Wike Gives N40million Lifetime Scholarship To Talented 12-Year Old Musician (Photos)
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has offered a lifetime scholarship to a talented 12-Year old musician, Master Nengi Jaja. Thescholarship worth N40million will cover the education of Master Jaja from Secondary School up to University Level.
Governor Wike announced the Scholarship on Sunday at the State Ecumenical Centre in Port Harcourt during the Thanksgiving Service in honour of Prince Uche Secondus where the young musician performed soul lifting songs.
The governor directed the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Province 5 to open an account for the musician in laision with his family for the purpose of his training.
He urged the church to closely monitor and guard the young musician to ensure that he fulfils his destiny.
Young Nengi Jaja emerged as a 2nd Runner Up in an international music festival where over 10000 children participated.

BREAKING: FG ANNOUNCES PHASE IV OF COVID-19 LOCKDOWN
The federal government has announced phase four of the dreaded Covid-19 lockdown. Announcing the news, the government said this lockdown is going to be effective in all the 36 states of the nation beginning from midnight tomorrow.
The Federal Government has announced Phase IV of the COVID-19 lockdown across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The Head of Technical Secretariat of the Presidential Steering Committee (PSC) on COVID-19, Dr. Mukhtar Mohammed, who made the announcement on Monday in Abuja, said the new directive is to take effect by midnight of Tuesday, May 11.
With the lockdown imposed, mass gatherings in public spaces have been restricted to 50 people at any given time. Access to government institutions would also be denied to anyone not wearing a face mask while government meetings and travels have been limited to the virtual platform.
According to Mohammed, the government has directed that bars and nightclubs should remain closed and the nationwide curfew will be in force until further notice. He added that only essential international travels would be encouraged, and all existing protocols must be strictly adhered to.
